Thame Concert Band was formed in 1993 and is made up of around thirty local musicians. We rehearse every Tuesday evening at Christchurch, High Street, Thame and produce several concerts and Fete performances every year.

Our Conductor and Musical Director, Roger Hewitt, also plays for the Central Band of the Royal British Legion and is Director of Music and Conductor of Harrow Concert Band. Roger is a talented clarinet player and musical arranger who will bring fresh ideas and new music to this successful local group.

Our wide repertoire of over 400 pieces varies from show selections, film themes, popular classics and solo features. The band is a lively and friendly group of locals of all ages, backgrounds and musical abilities, and welcomes anyone wishing to join – particularly in the brass and percussion sections.
