Thame Concert Band was formed in 1993 and is made up of around thirty local musicians. We rehearse once a week at Christchurch, Thame and produce several concerts and bandstand performances every year.

Recently, we have been joined by a new conductor, Colin Ridgers who will no doubt, be pushing the band to get better and better.

Our repertoire varies from show selections and marches to overtures and solo features, with many of the players being talented virtuosos in their own right. At the same time, Thame Concert Band is formed from ordinary members of the public who just enjoy getting together to play music. You are welcome to sit back and enjoy the end product, or step forward and join in. Come and listen to us, tell your friends, book us for your village fete or fund raising concert.
